Boere Gemeenskap Transvaal has identified a number of areas that need urgent intervention, where young and old unfortunate people die every day from malnourishment. Some children are left without parents / families and homes. A big priority for us is to feed as much individuals as possible. A plate of food can go a long way in ensuring that these unfortunate people go to bed with a full stomach.

..Food donation will initially save lives…

Our mission is to reach those who suffer from hunger and provide them with nourishing meals and giving them a chance to live a healthy life.

We travel to the harshest of areas and will work tirelessly to put a stop to famine around the community even if is one meal at a time.

We believe that no one deserves to die from starvation.

We have a mission to provide food to the starving individuals around the community, to eradicate the epidemic of food poverty and getting communities back on their feet. So that they can focus on education, work and trade.

Donations will be used to help us further our goals of collecting all the edible food that had currently being wasted.

..Clothing for children and adults..

Clothing is always welcome especially as we move towards the winter months. We will need some warm clothes to prevent the children specially feeling the effect of winter. Blankets and other household items that can be used will be welcome

Please phone 073 631 7914 or send an e-mail to boeregemeenskaptransvaal1@gmail.com to make arrangements for planned deliveries. Perishable foods need to be discussed with us to ensure we have the required resources available. We ask that you be patient with us when you want us to collect items from you. We are currently limited with the required transport and obviously food gets priority. We are working on a solution for our transport needs.

We are currently reaching out to 17 of these settlements in and around Johannesburg and Pretoria. We don’t provide the addresses of these settlements however donors are always welcome to accompany us in an organized manner to these settlements. We will publish dates for such visits on our Facebook page Boere Gemeenskap Transvaal from time to time. We are sensitive to treat these people not as a spectacle but a needy part of our society.
